· Litter Pick - Sunday 7th June 2009 2pm
Meeting at Gloucester Athletics Track Car Park, Appealing for as many residents, family & friends to assist with a "great litter pick" on Black Bridge and surrounding area. Litter pickers, gloves and bin liners kindly donated by Gloucester Enterprise City council to remove all waste left in a predetermined location. Free Bottled water and a sandwich donated by Lauren's Sandwich Bar, Duke Of Beaufort providing refreshment area and toilet facilities. Members of police, fire service, council and local school attending and assisting!! Great opportunity to meet new people, help the enviroment and keep fit! All for a good cause. For those who have not seen our surrounding Black Bridge area it will also be a good chance to explore where you live and embrace the nature and beauty on our doorstep!
